I've amended the family tree to show the pre-marriage names of Lou Beale, Bianca Butcher, Kathy Beale, Pauline Fowler, Cindy Beale and others in accordance with normal procedures for this sort of thing. In the cases of Lorraine Wicks, Gale Beale, Barbara Beale, Geraldine Flaherty and Brenda Flaherty aren't given in the relevant Wikipedia articles so I have left just their first names. It makes little difference to me whether her birth name was Beale or Medeemey, I just wanted to clear up some of the confusion caused by all the apparent Beale to Beale marriages and the like. Presumably, as they subsequently married and went on to have other children together, Albert would have acknowledged his paternity; the baby's birth could, therefore, have been registered under both the father's and the mother's names. Also, under the Legitimacy Act, 1926 her parent's subsequent marriage would have legitimated her birth. It, therefore, made sense to me to list her under her father's surname of Beale. But she was born out of wedlock and under a cloud of shame, so Lou wouldn't have told anyone her father's name, apart from possbily the registrar... -Trampikey(talk)(contribs)21:31, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
I suppose I can give it a go later. It might look a bit different... only problem is I don't have decent image editing software anymore :( — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 20:50, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Steven, Joe and the crazy Wicks family
This tree is missing something, I think. Pat married Brian Wicks and had Simon and David Wicks. David was mad Joe's father, and Simon was mad Steven's father. I realise this is the Beale/ Fowler tree, but since Steven is called Beale and is Pat Beale's grandson, shoudn't he be on it? raining girl (talk) 15:58, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
No, he's not descended from Albert and Lou Beale. Simon's father was Brian Wicks, David's father was Pete Beale. Only David's descendants should be included, not Simon's. anemoneIprojectors16:16, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
