Great image, I'd like to see more showing some other empires.. It seems that Malta is the wrong colour when the empire splits though, as far as I know it formed part of the eastern empire.

Timing

Your timer has gone haywire and is showin incorrect dates. For example, in the year 70, the Roman Empire (according to you) covered most of Europe. Simply south 18:03, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Problems

even though they were called Byzantines they considered them selves and never called them selves Byzantines btw.

Also for a period of time the romans in Britain were at the Antonian wall, before going back to Hadrian's Wall
