The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of a fair use image as a replaceable image. Please do not modify it.

The result was to delete the image.

RMANCIL stated in the {{Replaceable fair use disputed}} template that:

Despite this I have deleted the image for the following reasons: It is not a publicity shot, it's taken from wireimage a commercial image agency. So the copyright holder is selling it for profit, not giving it away to promote anyting. This might in intself be reason enough to delete. Further there is no fair use rationale explaining why the image is actualy needed (another reason to delete). Finaly you can't tell from the image that he was the chargers first pick (just a photo of him wearing a Chargers cap (I think)), and the fact that he was first pick does not need an image to be understood, the text is sufficient. So the image is not providing any unique information that can not be provided (and have already been provided) by other means, meaning it is in fact replacable in the context of Wikipedia's non-free content policy. --Sherool (talk) 09:42, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
