The result of the debate was to delete the image. — ξxplicit 20:59, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

J Milburn has questioned whether "a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable". I put this imagine in the is Maasai article precisely because every image I found of "Maasai Land", that being the current lands occupied by the Maasai, was within copied righted material and/or had a copyright notice "attached". This area does NOT exist to my knowledge as does for instance the country of Tanzania. I soent a "reasonable" amount of time trying to find "free" content. Also, although text COULD be used to describe the same area, a map conveys the same information quickly and more accurately. Steve Pastor (talk) 21:12, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

What's stopping a Wikipedian making their own map? J Milburn (talk) 21:15, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
